WEEK 3: Living Out Your Faith At Church
Living out your faith at church may sound like the easiest thing to do; after all, you're surrounded by other people who believe in God, you're listening to inspiring messages, you're attending life group and you're singing songs of worship to God. What else could there possibly be, right?
While those may all be important, sometimes they can just become a routine that you passively do. Living out your faith at church is more than just going to church, it's also about what you do when you're there.
Serving, is a really important part of living out your faith at church. We serve by giving our time to help out in whatever ways the church needs...and the best part about it is that you get to be a part of whatever you're passionate about! Do you like to sing? Try joining the worship team! Do you enjoy making people feel at home? Join the hospitality team to greet people with a welcome and a big smile!
Serving at church is a small way we can give back to the place that has given so much to us. It is also our way of sharing the talents and gifts that God has given us!
If you're not already, where can you see yourself serving at the church?
If you are, what are some ways you can be even better in your service?
God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.
