Better Decisions

At the end of his life, Moses wrote the book of Deuteronomy to record the mighty works God did and every word he spoke to the children of Israel. In the 30th chapter God reveals the power you have to decide.

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him.” (Deuteronomy 30:19)

God has given you the authority to decide. Your decisions have shaped the direction and quality of your life so far. You are where you are in your life, for the most part, because of  the decisions you’ve made. Decisions are never made in an emotionally neutral environment. Noone plans to complicate their life with a bad decision. The problem is too many people don’t plan not to. They don’t plan not to complicate their lives with unnecessary, completely avoidable bad decisions. They don’t put simple safeguards in place to ensure they will choose life. Your decisions are writing a story, a life story for all to see. What is the story you're writing?

Throughout this series, we invite you to dive into five key questions as guardrails to your decisions. We are praying these questions give you the tools to choose life in every situation and in every season so that you might experience life and life more abundantly.
