Spirit of Sensitivity
It’s important for us not to become desensitized to sin. There are environments where it’s easier to become desensitized to sin. It often occurs when we’re alone and think no one is looking.
Little by Little
God will not drive out the enemy in a single year, but little by little, and he goes before us (Exodus 23). This is how God reveals himself and blesses us. With just a little bit of faith, we will see God working and it will inspire us to continue to be faithful (Matthew 17:20). The mustard seed is very small, but its plant is very big. Small things always become significant.
One More Move
When we start to move outside of God’s timing, we not only put ourselves at risk, but we also put those closest to us at risk. In Hebrews 10:36, Paul says that after we have done the will of God, we have need of patience. God is running a marathon, not a sprint. God has a strategy, a purpose, and a plan.
Unshakeable Faith
In 2020, a false perception of stability was revealed, and we now see that everything on earth can be shaken in a moment. Everything on earth will pass away but God's word will never fail (Luke 1:37). Jobs, health, and relationships may come and go but God’s plan does not stop. God’s plan doesn’t stop just because the world has stopped.
Dancing with God
God has created openings in our world so we can execute a level of control through partnership with him. Life doesn’t just happen to us; it happens through us. We move, and as we move, it causes God to move.
The Zoe Life, Part II
We have to learn how to touch pain, suffering, and humanity with humility and hope. When we can touch the scars of others with this Zoe life, we can reveal the goodness of God, the grace of God, and Jesus is then glorified.
How to Live Life Devoted to God - the Zoe Life
In scripture, the Greek word for life is Zoe. Jesus did not just come so that we could have forgiveness of sins or that our future could be secure in heaven; he came so that we could experience Zoe life (John 10:10). Zoe is the absolute fullness of life.
The Resurrection Changes Everything
Easter is not a celebration that Jesus died. Easter is a celebration that on the third day, he rose again with resurrection power. We have a hope and a victory today because Jesus defeated sin, death, and the grave.
